INSTALL YOUR BULLSHFTR

Watch as Ian takes you through a step by step guide on how to install the BULLSHFTR onto your motorcycle.

  • What you'll need

    • Your boots
    • The 2 Allen keys provided
    • Your bike
    • A helping hand (optional)
    • An hour to fit and test
  • Step One

    1. Leave your gear peg where it is to start with, this is most likely the comfortable position for you.
    2. Loosen the six grub screws
    3. Slide the BULLSHFTR over the gear peg unless you're on a Harley-Davidson*
    4. *If installing to a H-D your pack includes extra hardware for you to attach to your gear peg and then slide the BULLSHIFTR over.
    5. Tighten up the six grub screws so they're firm. The jaws themselves will still be loose at this point.
    6. Try the fitment with your boot, adjust the rotation if needed.
    7. Now you need to get the jaws almost touch tight with your boot. Get someone to help here if needed.
  • Step Two

    1. Now you need to get the jaws almost touch tight with your boot. Get someone to help here if needed.
    2. Now you can tighten the 4 screws on the outer casing to clamp down on the ball joint. Get this to be solid.
    3. Test your boot again, make sure nothing has moved.
    4. Tighten all the grub and outer casing screws.
    5. Finally, you need to tighten the anti-pivot sockets until they are touch tight with the casing. Do not keep winding them in.
    6. Check boots again, and you're ready to go. Give yourself some time to check the fitment and to get used to this new way of changing gear.
    7. Remember most bikes will allow gear shifter location adjustment if you need to raise or lower your peg.
